When I’m With You I’m Feline Good

Lila’s: SHIRT // SHOES // BACKPACK

Hi Everyone!

In my last post I mentioned that Lila has been obsessed with carrying around a backpack and well… that hasn’t changed. Haha. Last night Hubs and I went out for anniversary and left Lila with my parents. My mom is so generous and is always shopping for her grandkids. She loves to spoil them with a bag of clothes/toys every time she sees them. It is super sweet and makes those first moments with my parents even more special since they get to open a present. This gem of a skirt was in her bag last night and I couldn’t stop smiling when I saw all the kitty cats. Lila thinks it’s the best thing ever so she might never take it off.

Hubs and I had a great time on our date and I woke up feeling refreshed and recharged. We had a great morning together and she kept mentioning all the chocolates my mom let her eat last night. I giggle every time she tells me about it. Also, if you are looking for a back to school backpack this leopard one is a seriously great choice. It is just so perfect for a little toddler and can hold so much. I linked it under the last photo if you want to check it out. I hope everyone has a great afternoon!

Lila’s Outfit: DRESS // SHOES // BACKPACK

Hi Everyone!

I hope you all had a good weekend. I love the weekend because it means Hubs is home and we usually use of those days to wander around town. Yesterday we ended up in South Pasadena where they host their weekly farmer’s market. We got there pretty early so we had the place to ourselves. We got pastries at a local bakery, walked around a bit, and waited/cheered when a train came by. Lila always runs straight to these rocks whenever she sees them so we let her play with them for a bit. She is getting pretty good at throwing them and Hubs loves making it their little activity.

We brought along our alphabet Chatbook which has 26 photos from my Instagram page and 26 letters. It’s a fun way to read the alphabet but also look back on a memory. One of our favorite artists, Dallas Clayton, designed it making it even more special. We let Lila keep it in her backpack which she has been obsessed with carrying around lately. I’ll link below the book template so you can check it out. It is one of the most special books in Lila’s library right now. And really who can say no to a book?

Today me and Lila are doing a craft so check back in a few days and I’ll share how it turned out. Until next time…<3

Favorite Toddler Toys || Sofia The First

Sofia the First Deluxe Friends Pack

Itzy Ritzy Travel Happens Bag in Flamingo Flock

Pink Dot Shoes Piper Finn Footwear (20% off with code: CELESTE)

Hi Everyone!

If you follow along on my InstaStories then you already know that Lila takes toys with her everywhere we go. Her fingers are always super busy trying to keep up with her imagination. I like to collect her little figurines from shows or movies she has already watched so that she knows who the characters are and can easily play with them off their storyline. In the photos is an older version of Sofia the First toys, but she also has the current version and it is her absolute favorite set. The characters are the perfect size for her little hands and each piece is great quality. Some Sofia sets, like one at the disney store, has not so pretty faces on the characters. So I appreciate the quality that went into this set.

I get so many questions about Lila’s toys and I want to start putting together more posts about what toys I get for her and why as well as which ones she actually plays with the most. Below you can scroll through all the Sofia the First that are currently available and are a great for toddler play.

I absolutely cannot sing higher praises of these travel bags. I just though some figurines into this travel bag, zip it up, and toss it in the diaper bag. There are 3 sizes available but I usually use the biggest size since it has a handle. I can snap it to the stroller, or outside of my diaper so it dangles (while in the car, not just walking around like that, haha.)

I hope this was at all helpful. Leave in the comments below what kinds of toys/toys from what movie or show you would like me to share about next. Thanks for reading!

Ice Cream With Sprinkles

Romper // Shoes // Sunglasses

Hi Everyone + Happy Friday!

We spent the day with my family and that means getting spoiled with treats. I am obsessed with all things blush for Lila and when I found this adorable romper from Childhoods Clothing I had to get it. It is so perfect for summer and so easy to take on and off. We are still doing diapers for Lila and I always try to find clothes that are easy to take and off while on the go.

I hope everyone has a great weekend. Treat yourself to something cold & delicious, Lila says.

Let Yourself Rest

Hi Everyone!

I have been cooking a lot lately and trying new recipes. I have never known my way around the kitchen so it is all new to me. I have been doing good at the few things I have tried and been encouraged by the process. Today was one of the (first of many I’m sure) days where I messed up making lunch. I wasn’t following a recipe though, I was just sort of winging it, so maybe that was my first mistake. Haha.

So I packed up the stroller, got Lila dressed in a romper, and we went to our usual spot. We had a picnic in the grass area with snacks and Lila’s mermaid toys (she brings them everywhere) in her Itty Bitty Be Diaper Bag . It was so nice to be in a shady spot just relaxing. It is one of my favorite things to just pick a spot and through a blanket down and park it there for a while. Lila played at the playground and we couldn’t leave without spotting my the kid’s shoe section of Nordstrom for her usual pink balloon. The employees know her by name and will run into the back right when they see her. I guess that gives you a clue about how often we do this.

We are back home now and so excited to welcome home Hubs. He is bringing home to dinner tonight to cheer me up about my lunch time fail. He’s a good one you guys. 🙂

I hope everyone is having a great day!

Hey There Little Mama

Triokid Deluxe Baby Doll Stroller // Lila’s Shoes

Good Morning Friends!

On our coffee run this morning Lila insisted on bringing her new -adorable- baby doll stroller. We normally wouldn’t let her bring something this big on a walk, but she looks so dang cute pushing it that I caved. You can’t tell from the photos (because she sinks to the bottom) but she puts her little baby Anna from Frozen in it. The whole walk she would say “How ya doin’ Anna? You okay?” It was seriously cute.

Jake and I sipped our cold brew and let her push it around for a bit. We parked the car nearby so we thought it was perfect to let her get some energy out before we packed her back in the carseat. She means serious business with that stroller. And I seriously -can’t even- with how much I love seeing her push it.

I’d be lying if I said seeing her with this little stroller hasn’t given me a feeling or two of wanting a newborn around. Then I remember that when she was that little she wouldn’t sit in the stroller for more than a few minutes without crying for me to hold her. -And the feeling fades.- Haha. Maybe if we get her a baby carrier to practice being a big sister because then it would be way more accurate.

Seriously though, if you are pregnant and need a little help teaching your babe the responsibilities of being a big sister this stroller is perfect for that. OR if your little mama loves babies and needs an excuse to look super cute walking around town, this works great for that too. 😉

I hope everyone is having a fantastic Saturday!

Our Favorite Snack From Picnics To Parties

Hi Everyone!

I have still been at home recovering, so one of my favorite things to do with Lila is picnic in the front yard. She loves it because she loves to be outside and I love it because I feel like we are doing something without having to leave home. She gets so excited for our picnics and will choose random things that she wants to bring outside. I always let her fill a basket with fruit from the fridge because what’s the harm in that, right? She will usually eat the apple out of all the fruit she brings out because cantaloupe, mango, and orange all require preparation. My favorite guilt free afternoon snack that makes it to our picnic has to be Harvest Snaps.

If you haven’t tried Harvest Snaps you are seriously missing out. Harvest Snaps are made from real, all-natural peas. They have tons of protein and low fat and sodium. I have been eating them for years and my favorite part is that I have no guilt about snacking on them. Lila and my husband love them almost as much as me, so I always have a snack bag full of them in my diaper bag. They are perfect to take on the go and easy to eat in the car for long drives.

There are also eight different flavors, each better than the last. So you can still switch things up with a new flavor here and there. My favorite flavor is the light salted, because I think they are perfect. I’ll switch things up with tomato basil or mango chile lime. They are also gluten free and dairy free, so that’s a win!

I hope everyone had a great long weekend with family. If you are looking for a delicious, healthy snack for at home or on the go, you can find Harvest Snaps near the produce section almost anywhere. Happy Snacking!

*Thank you to Harvest Snaps for sponsoring this post. All opinions are my own.

Something Every Backyard Should Have…

Water Table // Swimsuit // Water Shoes

Hi Everyone!

It is feeling a lot like summer these days! This weekend it was really hot and Lila basically lived in our backyard playing with her water table. This water table is amazing because it comes with so many toys and the second level rains water onto the lower level, which is sure to get a squeal out of your toddler. Living in California, this is a MUST HAVE with baby. I don’t know how I waited this long to get one. I am such a huge fan of this thing and it’s basically like a built in babysitter because this lady is outside for hours splashing away.

We had my family over this weekend it is such a hit with all the cousins. It’s so cute because the first thing they want to do when they get here is change into a swimsuit and run to the backyard. Thankfully we have a cemented backyard so it’s very easy to let the table drain onto the cement and clean up is a breeze.

I hope everyone had a good weekend that involved water!

Toddler Fashion Favorites with Wilshire + Cooper

Dress // Shoes // Tote

Hi Everyone!

Today I am sharing with you my new favorite online store to shop for Lila. I love shopping online for her because if I find something I think like, I can very quickly see how others are styling it on Instagram and that helps a lot when everything toddler sized is so stinking cute and I can’t decide. I ordered her a few pieces from one of my favorite brands and in these photos she is wearing the dress. I ordered it size 18-24 months even though she is in 2T and as you can tell from the photos it fits her great even though it’s one size small. The dress is naturally suppose to be a bit flowy, so I love that instead it is fitted. It’s easily my favorite piece in her closet right now.

I got her dress from Wilshire + Cooper.  They are a new online destination for designer kids appeal and accessories, offering unique and designer brands from all over the world. The range is from handmade to runway fashion, so there is something for everyone. With one browse you’ll recognize some of your favorite brands and find brands that you can’t believe you didn’t know existed. I love that all my favorites are now in one place at Wilshire + Cooper. You can get 15% off your entire order with code: OHHELLO15

Check on my Instagram for how I style the rest of the pieces I got her. Have a great week!
