Urban Adventure Kitchen in Pink from Teamson Kids
Before having my daughter, Lila I never really celebrated Halloween. My family never encouraged me to engage in the celebration of it and it also never appealed to me. I am very sensitive to spooky things and do enjoy getting scared. So I guess I jut never understood why the day was the fun. UNTIL THIS YEAR.
Now I still don’t enjoy getting scared but I do love any excuse to celebrate with my little lady. This year we did some shopping at Cotton On Kids because their Dress Up line is too cute for words, and honestly can be used year round. I picked out this gorgeous tulle dress for her and she absolutely loves it. She can also use it as a fancy dress to leave the house or as a princess dress while playing in her room. I love how versatile it is and it is so gorgeous in person.
Add a pair of animal ears and bingo bango you have yourself a Halloween costume! The best part is that both pieces you can use year round together or separate.
I hope you enjoyed Lila’s bunny costume!
Things are getting Batty around here. Today Lila is wearing her bat inspired costume with pieces from Cotton On Kids. We love their entire dress up line for holidays and even daily dress up. Best part… these glow in the dark!
According to my two and half year old, love is… when you walk into a store and they have a balloon waiting for you. Sometimes it’s the little things that are the big things.
If you are a mama bear then chances are high that your kiddo is in school today! What a roller coaster of emotions. My little lady isn’t even in school yet and I get emotional every time I hear her say, “Hi my name is Lila and I’m going back to school!” She is just copying her older cousin who is starting 1st grade today, ahhhh! We spent the past few weeks helping her cousin get to ready for today and Lila loves the idea of going to back to school mainly because it sounds fun. She really does love her cousin’s school though. When we visit she has so much fun and does not want to leave. Maybe it’ll be different when she realizes mommies don’t stay at school with the kids. I’m pretty sure that will ruin it for her and she’ll want to wait like 5 more years to leave me. Maybe not though. Haha.
Really though half the fun of going back to school is the back to school shopping! So me and my sister took the girls to one of their favorite places, Cotton On Kids. My local mall has a mega location and it is seriously the girls’ favorite store. They want to go in there and play/go shopping every single time we go the mall. It’s pretty dang cute! Annnd it was so much fun taking them and loading them up from the shopping spree that we might just have to make this a yearly tradition.
Stay strong this week mamas, sending love!

"Hi my name is Lila and I'm going back to school!" 👋🏻 — we spent the last week or so getting her older cousin ready for 1st grade and Lila is pretty sure she's going with her. I decided to let her in on the fun of back to school shopping so we took the girls one of their favorite places, @cottononkidsusa. Annnd we might just have to make this a yearly tradition. 😍 #cottononkids #cottononkidsusa #kidscollaboration #LilaWearsCottononkids
