Lila’s Clip // Lila’s Dress // Rug // Pom Pom Bin // Stuffed Animals // Popsicles
Today I am sharing with you one of Lila’s new favorite snacks… popsicles! I found these super natural and super delicious Squeaky Pops that are only 50 calories and perfect for kids. Even the packaging is fun and Lila yells out a big “Yay!” each time the freezer opens. It’s been the perfect afternoon treat for playing in the backyard or playing inside. Plus I am pretty sure I could never eat enough popsicles so I enjoy them with her.
Since it has been raining off and on this week we have playing indoors a lot. These stuffed animals from Mary Meyer have been a favorite of Lila’s lately. They are so soft and so small, making them easy to tote around. I let her pick one to take with us out and about because they are a good size to carry around. I love running them against her cheek and tickling her with them while I’m holding her. She thinks it’s hilarious!
I can’t wait for the rain to stop and for spring to finally be in full effect. I see a lot of water play and beach days in our future! Thanks for reading.
Sunset Side Chairs in White from Apt2B
Today I am sharing with you one of my favorite pieces in the whole house! These Sunset Side Chairs in White from Apt2B are so versatile and the design is flawless. They have so many purposes in our home ranging from dining chairs, additional living room seating for guests, and also the perfect tea party chairs.
Lila has these exact chairs in kid size, but she always prefers the adult ones. I think she likes how high off the ground she is and how much additional space her booty gets. So often for playtime I use her kid table and pair it with the bigger adult chairs. Plus all three of her knit doll besties fit in one chair so she doesn’t have to pick just one to have a tea party with.
The chairs from Apt2B are amazing quality which my husband and I will both comment to each other. All in all we absolutely love these chairs and how they are so functional for a variety of reasons while still keeping the modern feel in our living room. I often will chose to sit in these chairs over the couch when getting some work done on my laptop.
What piece of furniture can you not live without? Thanks for reading.

bObi Pet Robotic Vacuum Cleaner and Mop, Silver
Today I am sharing with you my favorite new home gadget, the bObi pet. The bObi Pet is a Robotic Vacuum Cleaner and Mop that does the cleaning for you. It is also programable so I have it on a set schedule, to clean at the same time very week. The best is when I come home and the living room is spotless!
The vacuum reaches deep into carpet and eliminates fur, hair, and debris. This puts me at ease knowing how well it cleans since my little one is crawling around the floor. The long-lasting battery runs 75 minutes on a single charge, so I only have to charge it about once a week. The block shown in the last photo projects a digital barrier to keep bObi out of our cluttered areas.
All in all this has been such an awesome gadget to have in the house. It also takes up about 90% less space than our old vacuum which has given us a lot more room in our hall closet. I couldn’t imagine not having it now that we have one.
Have you used a robotic vacuum before?
Magnetic Wooden Blocks // Basket // Rug
Today is Monday and I always feel like it brings a fresh start to a new week. I like to do the most cleaning I can on Mondays’ so that way the rest of week it’s not too cluttered (hopefully). Our laundry has been piling up to the point where I have been wearing only leggings- and not just because I want to. Lila normally likes to ‘help’ me with the laundry but today she was so distracted playing with her new toys from Rose and Rex.
It’s really hard to get her distracted with toys, she normally wants to do whatever I am doing with me. When I looked over and saw her totally in the zone I knew that was my chance to get some folding and hanging done. First I snapped a few pics, and as you can tell by her expressions I don’t think she noticed. Then I folded and hung up two loads of laundry and came back to find her still playing with these blocks. If that’s not a mom win then I don’t know what its!
I hope everyone has a great week. Thanks for reading!
Teepee & Cushion // Wall Print // Grid Blanket //Swan Coverlet // Diapers
So you are probably wondering why there is a giant teepee in my living room… Well for Lila’s birthday she got this adorable teepee from our friends at The Land of Nod. I set it up the when she went to sleep on her birthday eve so when she woke up in the morning she could see to and be surprised. I grabbed a few things that were in her room that I love like her pink buggy, a knit cactus pillow, Splash the cat, and her swan coverlet. She was so happy when she woke up and she went straight inside of it and said, “My teepee!” I thought it was so cute that not only did she know it was hers, but also that it was called a teepee!
It was pretty difficult getting her out of the house after that, but we managed to load her in the car and we had her presents waiting for her in the backseat so she could open them on the car ride to the aquarium. Her birthday was such a great day filled with family and her closest friends. I think it was one of the happiest days of her life, which is exactly what I wanted it to be. I thought about doing a big party but I knew if I did I would be too busy party planning and not be spending enough time being present. I think next year or the year after we will do a big fun party and have it be not on her actual birthday.
Since I set the teepee up in the living room I actually really like it. It’s so pretty and cheerful and lights up the room! It was suppose to go in her playroom, but I think I am going to wait a while before it makes it there.
Since I decided to leave the teepee in this room for now I wanted to tie the room together with a fun wall print. I found this one from an online children’s boutique called Peach Stream. If you haven’t heard of them before you have to check out their website because they have the cutest selection of some of the best brands around. While I was shopping, I found this blanket from one of my favorite blanket brands. I have a few of their muslin blankets for Lila and love them so I knew this blanket would be a winner too. It is pretty in big size and also reversible. I think it’s perfect because even though it is a kid’s brand it is also a pattern that I love so it makes for a perfect family blanket.
I hope you like the latest changes to our living space. My sister recently got Lila got the cutest table and chairs set, so I will be sharing that next. (One of the chairs is shown in photos above.)

FRAMES from Framebridge // RUG // DIAMOND // SEA URCHINS
One of my intentions for this year was to make our living room into a room we spent time in as a family. Up until a few weeks ago we only used the living room as a hallway to get to other rooms. I wanted to turn this room into where we spent the least amount of time, into where we spend the most of our time.
At the end of last month we got our carpet deep cleaned and it made such a difference! When I came home to this room completely empty and with spotless carpets and I had total inspiration of what this room could be. I slowly have gotten rid of ALL the furniture, boxes, and clutter that took over this room and that made it overwhelming to be in.
We have a short list of items we are going to get for the room and then hopefully it will super cozy in here and feel like home. Lila already likes it so much better in here and we spent a lot of time sitting on the rug together reading books and building puzzles.
Can’t wait to share more soon.
Good morning friends!
Right now I’m sipping on some coffee getting mentally prepared to sort through and box up all the clutter from around the house that I piled up in the living room. I am feel so excited to start the new year off with a major purge of unwanted items and I feel good about donating it to a worthy cause. It might be an all day affair but I know tonight will be a peaceful sleep knowing it’s over.
I also wanted to share with you one of my most loved brands, Replay Recycled. Lila has been using their sippy cups since she was just a few months old and to this day they are her favorite cup. As a mom I love them because they are totally spill proof. She can throw them out of the stroller, drop them from a shopping cart, or turn them upside down and shake them. The rest of their line up of plates, bowls, utensils, etc are just as sturdy and just as loved in our home.
My favorite product of theirs is snack stacks. Of course I use them for Lila’s snacks, but I also use them to store my granola for my morning yogurt. I also use them for storing sprinkles, m&m’s, and nuts. The stacks are air tight and keep the food inside fresh which helps me do my job as mom better by having snacks that aren’t stale.
Part of my home purge included getting rid of a lot of dishes and cups that we don’t use. I prefer the quality of the Replay dishes so I am doing inventory now to see what we could use more of. As a treat for getting rid of things we don’t use I’m going to get a few extra pieces like pink flat plates and bowls that we use everyday. Out with the old and in the with the new.
As excited as I am to get the kitchen cabinets in order, the biggest purge was done in the living room. I think I will share with you some photos next week because it is seriously unrecognizable.
I hope everyone has a great week!
